All Night Diner at the Fabric Shire

On our recent west coast tour we picked up a new song our buddy Cameron wrote for his country singing group The Amazing and Incredible Randy. When we got to his town, he came to watch us play and heard that we did one of their tunes, and requested we play it. We gave him a microphone and he joined in. The video doesn't do justice to the Fabric Shire, the unique space where we performed in Eureka, CA. We are all suspended up in the ceiling of the room upon a great net of interwoven fabrics. Andrew, seated in a little chair bolted to the wall, is playing the drums in midair. the piano is hanging from the ceiling and there are a few audience members directly underneath us. if you ever go to eureka ask around about this place. Thanks to Ruth Miller for the video! We luvz ya!

A hack-up version of lazer Zeppelin just played a show in Athens, Georgia. Alex and markly were there accompanied by LAKE members Ashley and Andrew filling in on drums and slide guitar. It was really fun. And later in November the same band is playing in Washington, only all the members will be different! Satellite band USA! (hey you guys should post info about that show)

farewell, little vikings

on hiotis.

mark and alex are traveling on respective projects for a coupl'a
months, but maybe you will see them out there on the road someplace
and say, "hey! what the hell are you doing here?!" maybe this will
happen in a gas station in austin, erstwhile grazing upon piles of
greasy vegan corndogs purchased from some hippy with a mexican blanket
wrapped around a bucket of ice water full of edible rocks that only he
knows about. those "rocks" are probably pretty tasty, he thinks to

see you in '08!

tanks too and god knit

We did it right!/We did it right?/We did it R.I.T.E.: our last show of this bountiful, bootiful, gold-sprayed year. Thanks to Grandma for letting us play our little games for you, we had a gay old time and, from the looks of all that shakin' and snappin', you did too. So we'll see you in the news dear, god bless Al Hirt and novel uses for plastic plates, and don't forget to save a dollar for the next snack attack which could very well be cured by someone near and dear! Goodnite!

there sure are a lot of secrets...
has lazer zeppelin really played its last show of 2009?
are piaptk recordings really going to put out a lathe-cut picnic plate 7" of the LZ?
how in the world is this band going on tour in the us and mexico in spring 2010?

new music viddy, yo!

We made this video with Brian Echon the other night when we broke into the Northern! Pretty serious stuff.
the song is "sinkin' sand" from our album.

The laze full equip't at half force

here is proof that Lazer zeppelin played wiithout half of the members. now that's versatile! you can make out markly and alexis, with andy's back, his remainder obscured by an onlooker. sara was in colorado, evan was in hawaii, and nobody else was in the band at the time. this was mid-august probably, at chez puget in olympia wash. we are going to go to sears oor something for a professional family photo sometime this week if we can swing it, but- busy busy busy... photo6.jpg taken by skip allums

does the internet even work anymore?

i guess so.
